The 476th vFG is celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary. For this occasion LFE-X was organized where 39 US and EU Virtual Pilots of the 476th vFG joined in Operation 'Ex. Tin Resilience'. Blue and Red Pilots had their own separate insulated Scenario Planning and executed the Operation. Before taking off for the Operation an Elephant Walk was executed, in which almost all of the 476th vFG Pilots joined together in a Close Formation Nose-to-Tail Taxi on RWY 21 at Nellis Airforce Base. The term 'Elephant Walk' is incorporated in the USAF Lexicon to identify a 'Maximum Sortie Surge'. Elephant Walks are conducted to display Capability and Team Work and are often performed to prepare Squadrons for Wartime Operations and prepare Pilots for the launching of fully armed Aircraft in one Mass Event.
