10 foot desk- build process and final pictures

So this build was super special to me and a first for a built in desk. My sweet grandparents (in their mid 80's) wanted a desk and asked me to build one for them. They live more then 300 miles away from me and I knew it would be tricky but had to try and do it! I do feel like my skills have increased and I learned so much! I already knew how to make a desk, this was just the first time I had to deal with unlevel floors and off square walls all in the same build. I decided to make the base drawer units first in my shop and then disassemble and reassemble when we got there. It was a challenge to work without my own shop. I took a lot of tools but didnt have everything. I had my 3 kids with me as well and they help a bit here and there. It was a blessing and curse hahaha! I am really happy with the end result. It definitely wasn't perfect but it was special for me and for them. I love being able to do things like this for my family. Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy the process.
