An indie rock band with an electronic twist, Joywave brings their energy to JBTV with the performace of "Parade." Formed in 2010, Joywave features Daniel Armbruster on lead vocals, Joseph Morinelli on guitar, Sean Donnelly on bass, Benjamin Bailey on keyboards and Paul Brenner on drums. Joywave sparked interest following their collaboration with JBTV alumni Big Data for their work on “Dangerous,” which ranked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Joywave’s unique music videos for “Tongues” and "Somebody New" have been gained extensive amount of popularity with over 750,000 views on YouTube. Other media coverage claims include appearances on Late Night with Seth Myers, as well as having their song “Tongues” featured on the video game FIFA 15.
