Ratina Z-Wild Child.

Ratina passed away at wednesday the 22'nd of December 2010 at the age of 28. Because I've always loved this mare, I decided to make tribute to Ratina Z. She's in my opinion, the best showjumper ever. She has won numerous gold and silver medals at the olympics, the world championships and the european championships. And numerous international grand prix's around the world and of course a world cup final. Ratina was in every way a wild child, she did things her way only, and the rider had to adapt himself to her, not the other way around. She is sometimes referred to as the dream of showjumping. And a dream she is. Ratina's genes is not lost thoug, Leon Melchior has 3 clones of Ratina, called Alfa, Beta and Gamma.
