Based on some old sketches but conceived in this form when everything locked down and all seemed impossible in the worst of ways. I felt compelled to create something logistically impossible; an act of resistance... and radical acceptance. Picture a stage featuring a solo cellist, an empty chair next to them, and a small, 18th Century orchestra. Lurking in the pit below is a large, modern orchestra.
