Toyota Soarer Lexus SC400 Odometer screen replacement

As part of my project to get my 93 Soarer registered I needed to fix the dreaded Odometer LCD bleed. Finding a cluster with a good screen was a bit tricky, I ended up taking a risk on an untested cluster from a local wrecker. I didn't really explain what I did to fix the issue I had when I first refit the cluster. I believe the issue was the black plastic screen carrier was not correctly alligned to the circuit board the first time. I had swapped the full LCD screen carrier from the donor cluster into the original cluster for my first attempt, the second time I swapped the good Odometer LCD into the original carrier and paid close attention to making sure everything was lining up exactly. As you can see in the video the 2nd time I fitted the cluster it worked correctly.
