Key Signature: E minor Time Signature: 3/4 and 4/4 Tempo: mostly, Andantino Difficulty: Advanced third waltz of the series, it depicts the intricate shape and vibrant bluish-violet hue of the butterfly pea otherwise known here as Telang flower, its a flowering vine native to my country in parts of ternate island, but people cultivate them everywhere here beacuse of their dyeing property. thought process: i first encounter this flower from my college years. there was this house close to my campus that has this trellised fence with this viney flower plant growing on it, the hue strikes me as so jarring the first time i see it. so i asked the caretaker which happens to be closeby and he said the plant called "telang", and he also gave me a bunch of the dried flower, he said to boil it and make it into a tea. so i did, when i got home boiled it and just to be honest, the taste is just not for me (it got this herbal earthy tone to it). but the color tho, its the most vibrat bluis-violet ive ever seen from an organic dye, looks almost artificial. p.s. the slight similarity to the zelda's fountain song is completely unintentional, i just could'nt pinpoint the exact melodic source when i first composed this lol, thanks to dekkadeci for pointing it out.
