Yes, for $10 dollars or less you can make a perfectly useable ground glass for virtually any large format camera. I am currently restoring a Conley 5x7 view camera and needed a ground glass. Most are strangely expensive so I made my own with a $1 picture frame from Dollar Tree. This process will work for ANY ground glass and also serves as a way to make your own anti-Newton glass for scanning your negatives. I urge you to source most of your supplies locally (especially the glass) as I did, but if you can find a few of the things from the video online below using my affiliate links: Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help in the comments. Glass cutter https://amzn.to/2Q3pPTx Valve Grinding Compound (equivalent) https://amzn.to/3uwyTPF My toolkit (I literally couldn't work without it) https://amzn.to/3wArTDp In the future I hope to make these types of videos on my channel free from the normal affiliate links and ads. Until I'm able to do so, here are a few other things that help (and I mean a lot) keep the channel running: Learn to see your photographs differently with my new book on composition https://bit.ly/ModernCompBook My wild pony book 'Faces of Grayson': https://bit.ly/2HrwtO0 Camera Jockey Clothiers (custom made stuff for photographers) https://bit.ly/CameraJockey Get 25 FREE Lightroom presets at https://bit.ly/2UEfqLq My $5 preset packs for Lightroom http://bit.ly/PROpresets My comprehensive video course and eBook guide to Lightroom: http://bit.ly/contrastlystore Find me on Instagram / adamwelch.photographist Find me on Facebook / adamwelchphotographist Music provided by: Ambiment by Kevin MacLeod (shortened to fit video duration) Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song...
