Tura to Wari Chora – An Unexpected Ride Through the Borders 🇮🇳🇧🇩 | North East India Bike Trip In this video, I set out on a solo bike trip to Tura, Meghalaya, expecting to explore tourist spots nearby. But once I reached Tura, I quickly realized that most attractions are far away from the town itself. With no proper place to stay, I ended up spending the night at a petrol pump. The next morning, I changed my route and headed towards Wari Chora. While riding along the India-Bangladesh border for 2–3 hours, I unknowingly crossed into Bangladesh—according to the border fencing. I spoke to the Indian Army stationed there, and they told me that due to the poorly done partition, many stretches of the border are unguarded and have no security from the Bangladesh side. On the way to Wari Chora, I saw local villagers climbing trees and harvesting betel nuts. I stopped to chat with them about their work and where they sell the betel nuts. Finally, I reached Wari Chora and set up my tent at a local homestay.
