Aston Station is located on Birmingham's Cross City Line linking Redditch/ Bromsgrove to destinations such as Lichfield and Four Oaks all via Birmingham New Street; and vice versa. As well as being on the line between Birmingham New Street and Walsall via Perry Barr. The station sees a roughly 6 trains a hour in each direction; a regular weekly stopping pattern goes as follows: Two Trains a hour to Walsall Two Trains a hour to Redditch Two Trains a hour to Bromsgrove Two Trains a hour to Four Oaks Two Trains a hour to Lichfield Trent Valley Two Trains a hour to Birmingham New Street/Wolverhampton (Alternating) At the time of filming the fore- mentioned Cross City services were operated using Class 323 Electric Multiple Units; the Walsall and Wolverhampton services were operated using Class 350 Desiro EMU's The station is operated by West Midlands Railways;
