After the previous weeks rain and gloomy weather,happy to report that some warm Autumn sunshine has returned to us here in the remote Japanese countryside! The good weather gave us a chance to harvest some vegetables from our small natural farm and take care of some much needed yardwork. We enjoyed Miwa Somen Noodles for lunch which are made close to my Wife Yumi's Family home in Nara Prefecture. Despite the sudden downpour of rain after lunch,we headed off to the beach to enjoy some quality time in the ocean. We were treated to an amazing Sunset and enjoyed a dinner of fresh local fish,vegetables from our farm and some tasty rice which we always make using our special rice cooking pot!
