As you sit down with family and friends this holiday season, I want you to give thanks to all the power-ups that have been there when you've needed them. Without power-ups, you would have never had the strength to beat that frustrating boss battle or get to the end of a grueling adventure. Life can be tough without power-ups. Hey, is that turkey you're eating? No, not you. I'm talking to the mayor of Metro City. That's right, today's questionable power-up is this fully-cooked turkey dinner that just so happens to be hidden inside a dirty, stinky garbage can. Forget the crazy gang violence on the streets, what kind of maniac throws away an entire Thanksgiving meal? Somebody slaved away in the kitchen for hours trying to make everybody happy, and this is the thanks they get? And is it just me or is anybody else a little concerned that Haggar is able to devour an entire turkey dinner in seconds? Look at that, he doesn't even have time to chew. He eats the bones and plate. It's absolute madness. And yet he never seems to get tired. The turkey energizes him, even giving him the power to beat-up a car. He doesn't blame tryptophan for making him pass out on the couch, he does exactly what you expect from an elected politician, he fights unruly gang members.
