But more importantly their new safety package, called: 'Toyota Safety Sense'. It offers a number of safety features previously only seen on more luxurious and more expensive cars. The Auris we are testing also gets a new turbocharged 1.2 liter petrol engine and a new 1.6 liter diesel engine replacing the former 2.0 diesel. The engine for the hybrid version of the Auris is still the same with a 1.8 liter petrol that combined with the electric motors has an output of 136 hp and 142 Nm between 2.800-4.400 rpm. But this car can also have a fuel use of just 3.5 liters every 100 kilometers. Impressive figures. So what's changed then, you might ask. Well a lot actually, check it out in the video above.
