We travel on a wonderful Sunny Croatia! * * Zlatni Rat (Horw. Zlatni rat, Golden Cape or Golden horn; translated from the local dialect Chukovskogo; Dugi Rat) ― Kosa, located about 2 miles West from the centre of Bol on the southern coast of the Croatian island of brac, County Splitsko-Dalmatinska. Extends towards the Hvar channel, a body of water in the Adriatic sea between the Islands of brac and Hvar, which is a place with strong currents. The terrain is mostly is mostly a white pebble beach is located on the shore of the Mediterranean pine grove. The beach on either side of the braid stretches for a length of 634 meters, although the distance can vary depending on currents, tide and wind. The far end, which is usually slightly rotated towards the East, is often shifted to the West in certain weather conditions, especially due to the strong South-East Sirocco wind (known in Croatia as JUGO). The surrounding waters are usually cool and very clear due to the currents in the channel of Hvar. The course is moderately dangerous for swimmers that are sent far to the South, directly from the shore towards the open sea, because it can be difficult to swim back West towards the beach. The danger is not so serious, because the usual course is simply to carry the swimmer back East towards the harbour of Bol (and the beaches on the Cape, which is located between the Golden Horn and the city). Predictable daytime West wind, known as Mistral, makes the beach a favorite place for windsurfers. The pine grove that borders the beach, are the ruins of a villa rustica, including a swimming pool. The Western edge of the beach, and several coves to the West of the main beach are the place for naturism. The Cape is under state protection as a geomorphological phenomenon. * * Brac (Horw. Brač, ital. Brazza, lat. Brattia) is an island in the Adriatic sea, in southern Croatia, near the Dalmatian coast. It has a population of 14 thousand. the largest towns of Supetar, Pučišća (Pučišća), Bol (Bol), Sutivan (Sutivan), Sumartin (Sumartin), Selca (Selca), etc. Supetar is located in the Northern part of the island opposite split, Pučišća in the North-Eastern part, Bol — on the South coast, Sutivan is on the North-West, Sumartin and Selca — on the East.
