It’s a junior Canadian gold company with massive potential reserves of gold (and recently antimony) in the ground. The numbers suggest extraordinary profit potential, but critical challenges remain, including permitting issues and the company’s long history of stagnation. PLEASE NOTE that this was written in January 2024, and there have been massively positive developments for the company in the ensuing 13-14 months, not least its find of huge amounts of antimony, a metal used for hardening lead for military use (munitions). It’s a critical raw material for among others the US military. New leadership and strategic partnerships offer a compelling case for optimism. Promising agreements with local communities could finally unlock the necessary permits, and the upcoming vote in mid-2024 may be a turning point. However, risks like permitting delays, environmental challenges, and the long timeline to actual gold production remain significant. Despite these hurdles, the potential upside is staggering. If gold prices rise and everything aligns, the stock could deliver massive returns. The coming 6-18 months will be crucial, with key catalysts like feasibility studies, vote outcomes, and permitting milestones.
