Download the Free Tabs https://philmcgarrick.co.uk "Rose of Cimarron" is a song by country rock band Poco being the title cut of their 1976 album release Rose of Cimarron: written by founding member Rusty Young, the song featured lead vocals by Paul Cotton and Timothy B. Schmit. Alan Freeman the DJ (“Fluff” for those who remember him) introduced me to this song on his Saturday afternoon Pick of the Pops radio programme back in 1976 and it became my favourite country/rock song of all time – So I thought I’d attempt a guitar cover. Played on my Fender Custom 56 nos Stratocaster fitted with Kinman Impersonator 54 v3 pickups On neck/mid position through a Jeds Peds Swamp Thang (Tremolo pedal) into an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP Patch 1-66 Abbey Road Reverb (No echoes just reverb) and sound recorded in Cubase SX 6. I added extra rhythm chords using my 1990’s Gibson Dove which are panned to the left And My 2016 Gibson Hummingbird custom quilt (with a capo at the 6th fret) which are panned to the right. The Cubase sound edited with the five 4K video takes in Sony Vegas Pro 14. I used a Karaoke version BT available here :- https://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/cus... I made Tabs out of my arrangement which are free to download here :- https://philmcgarrick.co.uk Lyrics Roll along, roll on Rose of Cimarron Dusty days are gone Rose of Cimarron Shadows touch the sand and Look to see who's standin' Waitin' at your window Watchin', will they ever show? Can you hear them callin'? You know they have fallen On campfires cold and dark That never see a spark burn bright Roll along, roll on Rose of Cimarron Dusty days are gone Rose of Cimarron Trails that brought them home Echo names they've known Four days high and lonely Comin' to you only You're the one they turned to The only one they knew who'd do All her best to be around When the chips were down Roll along, roll on Rose of Cimarron Dusty days are gone Rose of Cimarron Shadows touch the sand and Look to see who's standin' Waitin' at your window Watchin', will they ever show? Roll along, roll on Rose of Cimarron Dusty days are gone Rose of Cimarron Roll along, roll on Rose of Cimarron Dusty days are gone Rose of Cimarron Hearts like yours belong Following the dawn Wrapped up in a song Rose of Cimarron
