The area, the colors and how they all blend to blue and grey smudge with Arkveld, the stupid ass fucking dome rocks in his spawn that serve absolutely no purpose at all beside making you do jumps when you don't want to because Arkveld's model sometimes lifts your character if you're on them, the dust everywhere, the constant AoEs and combos that never end with basically only 1 where he will be magnanimous and offer you a taunt, the loud as hell music that makes me feel like I'm fighting some Elden Ring boss, the other Guardians which completely mess up everything if they show up. I'm so done with this thing. Would've been tolerable, maybe even somewhat kind of enjoyable if you could fight it in the Windward Plains on large and flat fucking terrain and had a good 15k less HP. I praised Arkveld, didn't I? I said "Arkveld is too good of a fight to be butchered by AT". Boy was I wrong. The madlads did it. Picture it, Professor Utonium adding ingredients to his concoction: ok so we're gonna put it in dogshit small areas, we're gonna give it a bunch more AoEs, hyper aggressive, nearly 80K HP because this is Sunbreak apparently, some Guardians for the festivities, and fast regenerating Wounds because we're dumbasses who couldn't find ways to balance our broken ass Focus and Wound mechanics so now have this: absolute HP sponges that are just uninteresting to fight because the core mechanics are not good. This is a shitty run, which was recorded shitty quality and framerate because... fuck OBS I guess, or fuck this game since it's the only one that gets OBS to cough like this when I record ; but I couldn't care less. I'm not wasting any more time to get something better. This is my last video on Wilds. Words cannot describe how fucking disappointing this game has been from beginning to end. And they decided to end it with making one of the few salvageable fights and designs of this game into pure chaotic shit. AT Rey stays the only good Arch-Tempered monster they ever made. A monster that doesn't try too much to be Le Hard™ with only ONE new move and a couple of significant changes that drastically change the pace of the fight and fix the weaknesses of the base monster. I don't care if it kills my channel, I'm not getting the expansion. This game is hot trash, and I do not want more of it. I might get it only if people around me who share my opinions and will get it day one tell me that it's actually worth it, somehow. Now there's nothing but hope for a good """"B"""" team portable game that won't be influenced by Wilds like Rise was by World. Lastly, if you're curious, the helm from his set is a very slight upgrade for my set. Switch Fulgur Helm for Ark Y and Udra Y torso for Fulgur. You get 1 more level 1 slot with this setup.
