Conduit Bender DIY Jig Using Klein Bender Head as Die for more precision - Maker Piper Projects

In this video I show you how I made a Klein Tools 3/4" Conduit bender easier to use and allow it to make more precise bends for fun DIY projects made from 3/4" EMT tubing. You don't need an expensive bender, especially if you are doing fun DIY projects such as building "no weld" structures or similar mechanical contraptions that require precise bends. Professional heavy duty benders for 3/4" conduit can run upwards of thousand dollars, I bypassed this by getting creative with the head of the Klein Tools bender as the actual die and improvised with some additional parts to make it work as more expensive bending systems without the high cost. This video shows what I did it. The second part of this video, is the original modification that I decided to include as reference for how I achieved the present one at the beginning of the video. What you need: 3/4" Tube Bender, or at the very least the Head, to use as the stationary die. 3-5 ft 1.25 square telescopic perforated tubing to use as leverage control. 24" x 24"x 1" thick particle or MDF board for a vertical and better surface flatness mount. a skateboard wheel, at the very least, to use as the follower roller die. 1/2" hardware, nuts bolts and washers to attach the bender head to the board. 3/8" hardware, nuts bolts and washers for attaching he follower roller to the bending bar. -A vertical 4 x 4 post on solid ground or a similar mount surface, wall or structure you don't mind attaching things to with heavy duty screws.
