IODP Expedition 381 – Corinth Active Rift Development: Core flow onboard the drilling vessel Fugro Synergy. ESO is a consortium of European scientific institutions formed to undertake mission-specific platform (MSP) operations for ECORD on behalf of the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP). To date, ESO has completed seven MSP operations. The current MSP offshore operation is Expedition 381: Corinth Active Rift Development, a two-month expedition in Greece which started in October 2017.
