3 Rivers Strategy for Price Trends

3 Rivers Strategy is another approach to decide and gauge the underlying trend of a price chart with the help of a volatility indicator. Yes, in this approach I have used multiple Bollinger Bands to decipher the trend, how strong is the underlying trend and whether it is mature enough to reverse, at least in the short term. The way this is possible is because of the very nature and calculation of Bollinger Bands. You will know that Bollinger Bands starts with plotting a simple moving average and then adds up standard deviation to create a zone or band. That's the main reason why such a volatility indicator can also be used for trend determination and that is exactly what I have attempted in this video & approach. I have explained why I feel that this new 3 Rivers approach will yield better clarity compared to my existing 3-moving averages approach of using 13,21,34 exponential moving averages.
