This is the Zvex Effects Distortron from the Vextron Series. This one is taken form the Zvex Box of Rock engine, and is a simplified version of that pedal. It aims to reproduce the sound of an old Marshall JTM45. Having played one before, I can say that this pedal delivers. I'll be testing the Distortron with multiple guitars, going through my 2005 Bad Cat Hot Cat 30R head, 2x12 Bad Cat loaded with Celestion Bad Cat speakers.
