April 2025 Downtown Single Tracking

This footage is recorded on April 21 2025. I intended to upload this video way earlier this year but had difficulties exporting it from the editor. I’ve decided to cheese the process and screen-record the playback from the editor in order to finally get this video uploaded. And that’s highly embarrassing considering there is a certain transit security officer who I chatted with and had been waiting for this video to come out. I’m sorry it took so long! In April, trains on the 1 Line were single tracking through the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel in order for crews to repair a cracked rail just north of International District/Chinatown Station. A shuttle train ran between Westlake and Stadium, with the line on either side running as usual (with slightly reduced frequencies). All footage is my own.
