How to string a popcorn garland for your Christmas tree

It's so easy to make a popcorn garland! My 7.5 year old finished off the last few feet and so even kids can enjoy helping with this handicraft. It's cheap, and it makes for festive cheery Christmas decor! What you'll need: A sewing needle Light colored sewing thread Popcorn Thread your needle. I recommend keeping your thread attached to the spool in case you need extra or get a tangle and have to clip it. Then, look for the round puffy part of the popcorn to put the needle through. Slide the popcorn piece down the string and repeat! Once you need more thread, you'll unwind more thread and guide the popcorn pieces down a foot or so. Don't undo too much empty thread at once or it may tangle! Also, as the popcorn garland gets longer...keep it from crossing over on itself! If you can lay it out straight...do. If not, curve the finished part in such a way that it doesn't cross over on itself. This is important as we ended up having a few tangles I thought we might not survive when our popcorn garland got longer.
