A non-muscle invasive bladder tumor usually has a high recurrence rate, which leads to multiple treatments. Conventional treatment under general anesthesia is not suitable for older patients with multiple morbidities. Due to the simultaneous vaporization and coagulation in TULA® DUAL there is little to no blood loss. The laser intervention with flexible cystoscopy can be performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia or even without anesthesia.
