Contact Adam at [email protected] 2.22.24 | Video by Adam | QUEENS (NYPD) - On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 0424 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided female, trapped and injured, inside of a red Nissan at 60-29 56 Drive, within the confines of the 104 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, inside a red Nissan sedan with damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. A 27-year-old male was standing outside the vehicle and stated to police that he was driving the vehicle. EMS responded and transported the female to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst where she was pronounced deceased. EMS transported the male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. The male was taken into custody and charges are pending. Upon further investigation it was determined that at approximately 0409 hours, the red Nissan sedan was originally involved in a motor vehicle collision with a Honda SUV that was operated by a 34-year-old male at 47 Street and 28 Avenue, within the confines of the 114 Precinct, and left the scene. While fleeing the location, the red Nissan also collided with an unattended Alpha Romeo sedan and an unattended Nissan sedan. The operator of the Honda SUV refused medical attention. The investigation is ongoing by the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad.
