This is also the first kit ever that includes 2 full size clear stamp sets with nice Spring images and sentiments. I look forward to coloring these with my Polychromos. I'm not using these much in today's video, just for sentiments. I'm going to start by trimming my patterned paper using my Tonic Trimmer to various size panels - some to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and some to 4 x 5 1/4". And I'm going to start arranging these on my work surface - panels separately and little left over paper pieces also separately - I'll add them to main panels later. Since I usually make A2 size cards I chose to cut my paper to this particular size. IF you like to make square cards or smaller or larger cards and want to try this approach to cardmaking with a kit you'll have to cut your paper to the size that you prefer. Leftover strips can be used in a number of ways. You can add them as horizontal or vertical strips, you can cut them into banners or into a smaller rectangle panels. You can also use just the strips to make up a background pattern for your card. Once I was done cutting my paper I moved onto picking out embellishment for each of my card. Since the embellishments I had were stickers I decided to cut my sticker sheet up and place the stickers on my panel for planning purposes with the backer sheet still there. In other words - since I was still planning my cards I didn't want to adhere these stickers in place just yet. I used to do this a lot back in my scrapbooking days. This makes it much easier to work with stickers.
