Introduction of the "Italian Seismic Sequence 2016-2017" video series. In these videos, I will try to illustrate what we understand after 8 years of scientific research about the preparation phase of earthquakes, and in particular, the seismic sequence that started with the Mw = 6.0 Amatrice (Italy) 2016 earthquake. The Highest magnitude earthquake of the sequence occurred on 30 October 2016 with a moment magnitude of 6.5. We publish three papers: 1 - Piscini et al., A Multi-parametric Climatological Approach to Study the 2016 Amatrice–Norcia (Central Italy) Earthquake Preparatory Phase.
