The webinar, “Visualizing Complexity: Pragmatic Approaches to Process Mapping for Public Health Departments” was held on Tuesday May 2, 2023. This talk was delivered by Dr. Arianna Means, Faculty in the UW/Fred Hutch CFAR IS Core and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health, and Dr. Christine Khosropour, Faculty in the UW/Fred Hutch CFAR IS Core and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology. The webinar provided a didactic overview of process mapping and discussed a case study wherein a health department utilized process mapping to improve HIV programming. The RAISE hub aims to advance the implementation of EHE initiatives through the promotion of evidence-based interventions; support EHE-funded implementation research projects; connect health departments with researchers to respond to health department needs; and provide technical assistance to EHE Phase 1 Jurisdictions on IS methodologies, frameworks, strategies, and outcomes. In this work, RAISE collaborates with NASTAD to host a series of webinars on IS in public health practice.
