PanPastels Soft Pastels Pastel Pencils on Pastelmat |Creating Creatures 2018 In this pastel demonstration I show you how I use PanPastels, Soft Pastels and Pastel Pencils on Pastelmat with my brush technique, which is how I work these days. I use masking film to prevent halos around my subjects and show you how I mix colours if I don’t have the hue or colour I’m looking for. This painting is inspired by FineArtAnne, such a talented artist. Anne has invented a 31 Day creature challenge for the month of October, and this is Day 28, Bighorn Sheep Snow Leopard or Bighorn Leopard.
