金沢の銭湯｜This week, we're introducing you to the Japanese sento. ♨️Have you ever been to one before? Sento are communal public bathhouses, which have long been an integral part of Japan's bathing culture. Many locals frequently stop by sento, as they are a great place to relax & connect with people in the community. So, why have we brought up sento? Up until now, MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS has renovated and transformed countless traditional machiya houses in Japan. This time, we've had the opportunity to renovate and revive a sento that was loved by Kanazawa locals for more than 70 years. Although it unfortunately had to close its doors 2 years prior, MATSUNOYU Sento is back! We will be reopening MATSUNOYU Sento's doors on 2022/11/26 to both the local community, and overseas & domestic visitors of Kanazawa city!
