Optolong received feedback from many users that the L-eXtreme was not suited for F2 telescopes and these customers desired a high-speed version of this dual narrowband filter. After doing research, Optolong came across my high speed test video, and realized that these claims are substantiated and a new filter needed to be developed. They reached out to me to test this brand new filter, the L-eXtreme F2! The transmission of this filter is much, much, better than the normal version of this filter at F2, and it provides excellent contrast! In this video, I provide un-modified single exposures, un-modified stacked images, and processed images of several different nebulae so that you can judge the results for yourself. At the end, I compare data I took with the original L-eXtreme and L-eXtreme F2, and you can see the difference is quite noticeable. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy(ed) the review!
