His bike was produced for the Indian market and he noticed some differences to mine, which is a UK model. Some of the differences are down to the age of the bikes, mine being three years newer. As you can tell, neither of us are experts, but we spent 20 minutes wandering around the bikes picking things out. It seems the oval cover on the side of mine does indeed hide the ABS gubbins, where his has a little cubby hole.
