JOIN US AS I ACE THIS BASKETBALL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you know whom the head judge of this event is please respectfully suggest he improve himself. Thank y'all for watching. Whilst retired from competitive Pokemon I may start making new types of content. Cameraman's POV: • Cameraman's POV Jeremy Hall's channel: / @tokentube6665 Twitter; / 1joulepersecond Twitch; / rangerwatt Patreon; / rangerwatts Song; Channel art artist; https://twitter.com/RecklessGeck0?lan... Events that took place & FACTS: I did not know about sudden death Opponent did not know about sudden death I did not know about the judges interpretation of "cohersion" I never "lied", but there is a chance I misremembered information of course which is not lying. I'm confident I didn't, but if, by the off chance, I did that is not lying for lying requires intentionallity. Game 1 freeze (i was way up in it) Game 2 opponent win Game 3 me win We believe we have tied. Opponent feels sorry for me. I mention scooping as a potential course of action with no push. He decides himself to forfeit the match. We call a judge over, and find out we can't do that, and play out a sudden death that neither of us were aware of. I ask the judge if you can scoop the sudden death. The judge confirms you can. Opponent beats me in sudden death. I ask opponent if he still wants to surrender. I quickly turn to the judge and ask if that's ok for me to ask. The judge says no and I say oh and begin to discuss the rulings with him. He is very good at communication with me, but then tells me to turn to the head judge whom was behind me without my knowledge, so I start talking with him. We have a little discussion about the rulings. He is very stern, very unwilling to give me the time of day, very disrespectful to me when all I'm trying to do is learn, never debate. The head judge says come to my table if you still want to "argue". (He uses that word which I don't feel is applicable.) So I go there, and we talk more about the situation. He refuses to answer my questions. Doesn't understand that I don't understand. Doesn't understand that I'm simply trying to learn not change any decision, but won't listen to me say that. Mentions a penalty in passing. I question: "wait oh do I have a penalty now?" He says yes, and I continue to attempt to gain knowledge from the situation, but he isn't respecting me. He mentions a game loss for next round as a new addition out of the blue. I question that? (the first time I've questioned a decision any of the judges have made) and clarify that I'm just having a discussion to learn, that I'm not trying to change anything that has happened. He says he'll think about retracting the game loss, he'll let me know before the next round starts, and "if [I] continue to "argue, [I] will be disqualified." I thank him and leave. He gives me the game loss. It is the head judges job to interpret the rules, and his choice is final. Never, not once, did I dispute any decision he had made about the rulings. I simply wanted A. to look at the rules, B. defend myself from blatant misrepresentation, and C. Have a discussion about the rulings. The entire situation was a very unfortunate miscommunication which the head judge didn't even consider as a possibility. I believe the head judge thought I was debating with the other judge about some decision he had made, but the other decision he had made at that point was that I lost, which I never disputed. I believe the head judge also believed I knew about the sudden death, and intentionally withheld information from my opponent. Which was not the case. I didn't know about it, AND called the judge over myself. At the end of the day: the penalty was fine, the game loss was unnecessary but fine. The part which bothers me is the complete disrespect from the head judge. He would not humor my questions. He would not answer me. He would not He claimed I had lied without explanation. He framed me with his own lies (telling my friend I said "rules are stupid"). He flaunted, and misused his power; stating "I could no longer speak to him or he would disqualify me." When I was simply asking respectful questions. I payed 60 dollars for this event. For not only nothing in return, but for a horrible experience as well. Analogy: Imagine you go into an amusement park, you accidently break a rule, an employee spits on you, and then they forcable remove you from the park. That essentially what took place.
