Prophetic Oud Scent Salim Attar Review and Score

New to channel new to attars. What are attars they are simply the perfume ingredients with no carrier. Just 100% ingredients which could include non-naturals. Still learning about attars. A year ago I used to say these are only the natural notes and nothing else no alcohol, no carrier, and no synthetics. As I have learned on my journey unfortunately this is not the case. Synthetics are added to attars and they have to be in very high concentration as this is attar only. I even have a couple companies that won’t email me back on the subject and I am coming to them to buy their product. Pretty popular ones on IG. Again we westerners do want better perfumery, but also transparency. Fragrance in my opinion compared to Perfumes Notes You can tell the oud is in there it is a dark little barn to it dirty oud. The fragrance is so sweet it actually comes across like a musk that is a bit pissy. This is only the top and last a good hour on my skin. Notes are all there and powerful try one swipe first, this is a beast of a projector. I pick up a rose not on this even though not listed. Definitely packed with amber this is a amber bomb, must love amber. Don’t worry about lot’s of funk or heavy animalics. After an hour they were all completely gone for me most likely last another hour for most people. Really surprised how sweet this turns. For what I am used to in leather notes in attars this one was super soft. The dry down you are left with a synthetic that powers the very sweet slightly vanilla amber with a floral I want to say is rose. I personally would enjoy this and recommend a lot more without the added special note, that I am guessing is a synthetic. Think I am pretty used to them by now. Personally loved the opening would be fine with just naturals and be more than happy to stock this in my collection. Fortunately I have found better alternatives to this to avoid the synthetic drydown. I do love a lot of stuff from Scent Salim just to be clear, they are worth checking out.
