Hey guys, been a while since I uploaded a video, so here is the introduction of the new family member! See description for more details. Stock Mazda MX-5 / Miata NA8 1995 model. Fastest time of the day 1:55:02 on lap 5 (10:18). The track was still recovering from yesterday's rain with a few small patches here and there but most of it was dry. A drier circuit could have slashed ~1sec off the time, rest was driver error. Constructive criticism very welcome! Door cards were taken off to look more "tracky", but somehow the glove box and other compartments are full of crap... Overall I loved Mazda's work in setting up the MX-5 stock suspension. Although it feels quite soft and sits high, it still complies to the driver's demands nicely. The short gear ratios of the 5 speed also suited the track well. The most beneficial modifications would be more an LSD and more power, in that order (wheels/tyres aside). Brakes also went spongey on this final session.
