Device auto. Subject: Fuel supply subsystem. 19 series The function of this subsystem is to provide fuel injectors in the required amount of fuel in all engine operating modes. The fuel supply subsystem consists of the following elements: 1) fuel pump - provides the supply of fuel in the required quantity to the fuel rail under pressure of 300 +/- 6 KPa is mounted directly into the fuel tank and combined with the fuel level sensor and fuel intake filter. 2) Fuel filter - used for cleaning fuel from mechanical impurities non-separable; purification method filtration. 3) Pressure regulator - membrane type, connected by means of an air hose to the receiver. The regulator maintains a constant pressure between the inlet pipe and the inlet main rail. 4) Fuel rail - serves to accommodate the fuel supplied by the pump. It has a fitting for controlling fuel pressure. 5) Nozzles - solenoid valve used for fuel injection into the intake manifold before the intake valve. Excess fuel remaining after injection is returned via the drain wire to the tank.
