I came across this cardigan design in a post and immediately fell in love with it. This piece is intended as a birthday gift for my mother-in-law. While the original design features simple sleeves, I felt they might not be striking enough. So, based on the original pattern, I modified the cuffs into an openwork lace design, leaving all other parts unchanged. I’m really pleased with how the finished piece turned out. Through this project, I’ve picked up many new techniques—another day of growth in my knitting journey! This is my second video in 2026, and I’ve officially leveled up to a “second-grade elementary student” in knitting. Thank you all for your support and company.
