Endless Mode Mystery - Mega Man 9 The "Endless Mode Mystery" legend is an urban legend revolving around the 2008 action-platform game Mega Man 9. Shortly after the game's release, former Capcom community manager Seth Killian revealed that there was a hidden secret in the game that nobody had yet found. People began speculating that the secret was an unlockable character or new level, but Capcom refuted all of these hypotheses. Capcom stated that the secret was hidden in the Endless Attack mode, a mode wherein players were tasked with playing through an endless sequence of randomly chosen levels for as long as they could before dying.
