During our Bosnia road trip, we also stopped in Sarajevo and wanted to visit the Jajce Barracks, but we didn't quite manage to do that because the area is closed off due to the danger of collapse. However, I was able to take a few shots from a bird's eye view. The barracks was built very prominently on what felt like the best spot with a magnificent view of all of Sarajevo, and unfortunately was badly damaged during the Bosnian War in 1992. No repairs have been made since then, which only helped the decay over the years and large parts of the buildings have already collapsed today.
