After logging into your account head over to the trading platform. The first thing you’ll see is the trading ticket in the centre of the platform. From here you can select which instrument to trade. Day or spot trade Forward deal Set a Pending Order or click through to the Options trading platform. [arrow to this tab but don’t click on it]. Let’s have a quick look at a Day Trade. On the trade ticket you’ll see the details of the trade you are about to place – the market pair, the amount, the stop loss rates, how much free balance you have in your account. And how much will be debited from your account. You can click here to see even more details of your next trade You can find out more about opening and closing a trade in our series of ‘How to’ video guides. [point to where they can access these other videos] Over to the right of the trading ticket you get a quick snapshot of your account – you can see you are trading in your Live account instead of your demo, your account balance, any bonuses available to you and the Profit & Loss of your currently open deals. You can see more details in My Account in My easyMarkets. Now let’s look to the left of the trading ticket. This is the Market Explorer [start with all tabs closed] – a fantastic tool that allows you to view all 300 plus markets that you can trade with us. Forex, Commodities, Indices, and options. This is a really exciting feature because you can clickon any category to see all the pairs available for trading. You can see more or less or all the pairs – and you can select your favourites by clicking on the star to customize your view. But there’s even more to the Market explorer – there’s a really handy Search bar that allows you to look for any single market or a pair [enter EUR, then EURUSD], or you can look for a product by its nickname – for example I can find all the pairs trading the New Zealand dollar simply by putting in ‘kiwi’. Or I can find the UK 100 index by searching for ‘footsie’. And by simply clicking on a pair, it will be added conveniently to your trading ticket. How easy is that? Ok, so back to the rest of the platform. Below the trading ticket you will see the chart of the pair you want to trade. Over to the right you have the Inside Viewer, our market sentiment tool showing what other people are trading. Below the chart you get a live feed of news so you always know what’s going on in the markets. And you can check out the financial calendar to see if any events are coming up that might affect the markets. Finally you can switch to your Demo account to practice trading or trial a strategy. And you can switch back to your Live account at any time. everything you need to trade is on one screen, no need to click around to do your technical analysis or get your news on another site, it’s all here, in one simple interface.... easy trading with easyMarkets!
