Relaxed Performance for Beauty and the Beast

Every year, we hold an annual King's Theatre pantomime Relaxed Performance. Relaxed performances specifically cater for people who would benefit from adjustments made to our shows, such as customers with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. Were we can we make adjustments to the relaxed performance for audience members’ enjoyment. For example, we may keep our house lights up higher in the auditorium and less intense lighting and sound effects during the performance. It is a relaxed atmosphere for everyone and therefore audience noise and freedom of movement in and out of the auditorium as welcomed throughout the show.
