Crosswave X7 Cordless Pet Pro Great machine But Whether it’s worth the upgrade over the Cordless Max depends on a couple things. Upgrade to the X7… •If you value quality workmanship, the X7 has a premium high end feel, while the Max has a bulkier but more utilitarian feel. •If you value a light and compact design, the X7 has a much slimmer and more compact profile than the Max, at the cost of smaller tanks. •if you don’t mind emptying and refilling tanks for each room •if you value the 3 speed suction settings with pet boost feature which adds suction and solution when needed, at the cost of battery time. Stick with the Cordless MAX… *If you want to empty the tanks less often, the Max has larger tanks that last through several rooms before they need attention. •if you don’t mind the single speed suction •if you want to save money, the Max is a better value for the same performance Additional Info From My Testing… Pros •feels super light at just over 10lbs and easy to maneuver •excellent swivel head dexterity and maneuverability •Very easy to clean and maintain •self-cleaning cycle really works •high build quality, somehow feels more solid and better made than the Cordless Max •Cleans area rugs in just One pass •Boost mode works great for really stuck on messes or really dirty situations like mud and slush on mats •compact power head even fits under my fridge •close edge cleaning on both sides •uses same brush roll as Cordless MAX -easier to dock than Cordless Max Cons •no wifi like the cordless max •25v battery instead of 36v like the Cordless MAX by design has to work harder to maintain the performance of the crosswave max. •Plastic handle grip feels thin and cheap compared to rubber grip on cordless max •battery is not accessible at all without complete disassembly •emits a noisy, super loud and high-pitched whine that is offensive to anyone in the vicinity… and you dread using the thing •Copper accent color is ugly in my opinion •The overall design is ugly in my opinion, not really digging the Diamond shape •Small tanks need frequent emptying and refilling •my unit came with scratches in the dirty water tank •led headlights are too bright and distracting when using the solution trigger. The headlights are great, but I Would prefer a simple indication light to show that solution is going down instead of the bright blue headlights
