In solidarity to Peter Obi, supporters march in Umuahia, Abia State Capital #topaccoladenews #peterobi #news PETER OBI SUPPORTERS MARCH IN UMUAHIA Commercial and business activities were grounded weekend in Umuahia, the Abia State capital as supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party marched in the capital city. The march was organised by Peter Obi support groups under the aegis of National Youth Movement for Credible Governance. The march tagged “Abia one million man freedom march” started from the Abia tower along Enugu Port Harcourt expressway and terminated at Bende road. Members of the support groups walked through major roads in Umuahia singing solidarity songs in support of Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed. It attracted participants from all walks of life including men, women, youths and even the physically challenged. Mrs. Hannah Israel, 69, a retired civil servant said; “we have lost our generation because of bad leadership. I’m marching to secure the future of my children”.
