Joe: A Real American Hero action figures came out in 1987, my excitement was starting to wane. Some of the figures just didn't fit into what I thought of as an elite military line. However, there were also several awesome figures as well. The GI Joe Team Survivalist, Outback, was one of the good ones and if he'd been released a few years earlier, he could have been part of my Joe team when I was most into the line.
