Tagaya starts by questioning the society that why are women are kept in the social parameter as homemakers then she continues by sharing her own personal experience and observation a teenager who fought the society trying to change this kind of the point of view by her mother on her side. I’m TAGYA Agrawal a student studying in class 11 an aspiring designer and writer. I’m quite interested in dramatics, various art forms, writing poems and short stories in both the languages Hindi and English. I’ve often been influenced by how women have always been suppressed by society despite their achievements in various fields and wish to uphold the rights of equality that are being hampered time and again. I am going to publish a book collection of my poems and through it, I wish to inspire and influence people in order to change the society for better. As a part of the youth of the nation, I would like the country make it restore its identity as one of the leading nations of the world. As a single girl child in a somewhat stereotypical community, I have witnessed people often undermining a female calibre and I wish to stand against it as a wise person, once said write what you fear to write but wish to stand for. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
