The Infidelity Burst | 1983 Gibson Les Paul Prehistoric Reissue Review
This guitar was purchased brand new by a Doctor and stored in his private collection. Unfortunately, he got caught cheating on his wife with his secretary so the divorce court ordered him to sell off his assets to pay alimony. While I don't condone cheating, it is definitely not a great way to loose such a great guitar or collection. This is a spectacular example of a prehistoric les paul and it is a fairly early one from 1983 - my favorite year for Gibson. The #Prehistoric #LesPaul #Standard #Reissues are some of my favorite guitars from #Gibson. No, they are not 100% accurate representations of a 1958, 1959, or 1960 Gibson LP Burst nor are they as correct as some of the current-day #Historic Les Paul guitars. These guitars represent something much more and are very historically significant and helped shape Gibson into what it is today - their 'bread and butter' is still historic reissues yet today. I like the burst style and I really like the 70s and 80s era of Gibson so it is cool to have something like this available in this era. These guitars are fairly rare and hard to come by though.
