On India Development Debate, The farmers’ protest at man Delhi borders has entered its twelfth day. The Kisan unions have announced to observe Bharat Bandh on December 8 against the centre's new agricultural laws. The Kisan unions will observe all-India strike from 11 AM to 3 PM on Tuesday, 8th December 2020. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad slammed Opposition parties, including Congress, NCP and others for their opposition to three farm laws which were passed during the Monsoon session. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who was denied permission to visit Kanaauj the hold his party’s ‘Kisan Yatra’, breached the security cordon and staged a dharna in heart of Lucknow to express solidarity with the farmers and he was detained by the UP Police for violating Section 144 of the CrPC.
