"The song for the first single was a difficult choice, as any of the songs from the upcoming album would have been suitable for that purpose. The atmosphere of this song and the story intertwined with it is perhaps the "core" of what Ravencrown is all about in this case. I vividly remember the composition process of this song, which was done completely mechanically using Guitar Pro. It was year 2007 and I composed this song together with my drummer friend Erno Alaluusua, who is currently the drummer in the brilliant band Syphonvision. We also played this live with our band at the time.
