I talk about my book, “Osman Hasan and the Tombstone Photographs of the Dönmes,” the work of Osman Hasan, an artist who took evocative portraits of his community, as well as the mystical graveyard symbols of the crypto-Jewish "Dönme" sect in Istanbul.
