Freespirit EVOLUTION & ODYSSEY hardshell roof top tents - Overland Expo PNW '22

Continuing our visit to the FSR booth at Pacific NW Overland Expo, we learn about Freespirit Recreation's Odyssey tent and Evolution tent. Both are hardshell roof top tents, but they're different in design and operation. The Odyssey costs less and is more low profile when collapsed. But it requires some manual effort when deploying and collapsing. Also you can't store the ladder or any gear inside when collapsed. The Evolution or "EVO" costs more, but is also much more automatic in terms of set up and take down. You can leave the ladder and some sleeping supplies inside the tent when collapsed. Because of this, however, the tent is larger profile when collapsed than the Odyssey. Both tents have FSR's Tri-Layer material for all 4 seasons. And the tents are not permanently attached to their skeleton structures....which is better supposedly. More rooftop tent reviews, especially for the Honda Element, ‪@AdventureTruck‬ !
